Pirramimma Wines

Pirramimma, founded in 1892 by Scottish immigrant AC Johnston is a founding winery of McLaren Vale dating back to 1892. Still family owned by 3rd generation winemaker Geoff Johnston, who recently celebrated 50 vintages on site, and has pioneered an extensive soil rejuvenation program as well as famed European varieties of Petit Verdot and Tannat. Pirramimma’s style is built around generosity, depth of flavour profile, and an abundance of fruit reflective of our 130 hectares of Estate owned fruit resources. Pirramimma has been awarded four times the Best Australian Winery of Show at the acclaimed AWC Vienna Wine-show.
